Removing Affected Materials

The "before" picture was taken after one of our commercials clients suffered a water loss. The source of the water was a clogged sewer line causing a major back up in one of the bathrooms.

When it comes to sewage, or flood waters or water with any type of contaminant in it, the best and really only way to treat affected items is total removal. 

Essentially anything that the contaminated water has touched should be removed and disposed of in a safe manner. This includes drywall, insulation, carpet, carpet pads, etc.

Here we removed a couple of sections of carpet.
